Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of In Re: Outrage as Parents End Life After Child's Dengue Death dated 06/02/2018 regarding implementation of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.
Supreme Court refuses to accept the 845 page affidavit to be filed on behalf of the Union of India and Delhi Government and asks the Counsel appearing for them to prepare a chart indicating the States and Union Territories that have set up the State Level Advisory Board (SLAB) in terms of Rule 23 of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. The chart will indicate the date on which the SLAB was set up and the name of the Chairperson and members of the SLAB. It will also indicate the number of meetings held by the SLAB and the dates on which the meeting were held.
