Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Commissioner Aurangabad Municipal Corporation Vs Vijay Laxmanrao Dak & Others dated 28/03/2018 regarding solid waste management in the city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Supreme Court directs the Committee which had been constituted pursuant to the directions of the High Court consisting of Divisional Commissioner - Aurangabad Division, Collector - Aurangabad and others to ensure that the alternate sites are provided for disposal of municipal solid wastes and the mechanism is in place as per the suggestions given by the Pollution Control Board.
