Out of 81624 projects sanctioned under District Mineral Foundation only 22026 projects worth Rs. 4888 crore have been completed according to the Standing Committee report on coal and steel submitted in the Parliament on Dec 27, 2018. Goa, Bihar, Kerala, Meghalaya have not yet approved the schemes said the report.
The Standing Committee on Coal and Steel, present this Forty-Seventh Report (Sixteenth Lok Sabha) on "Implementation of District Mineral Foundation (DMF) and Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana(PMKKKY)" relating to the Ministry of Mines.
