Hon'ble NGt vide its Order datad April 24, 2019 in the matter of Original Application No. 606/2018 directed Central Pollution Control Board to do a Gap Analysis of the Action Plans/Compliance Reports submitted by Chief Secretaries in compliance to its Order date January 16, 2019. Two states viz. J&K and Jharkahnd have informed that they shall be submitting their Compliance Report in July 2019. Further, Odisha & Assam's Report has not been forwarded by the Registry to CPCB. Also, no report was found in case of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan and Report received for Tamil Nadu State was found to be incomplete. Hence Gap Analysis has been carried out for 29 States/UTs in this report.
