The Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) was incorporated in the year 1961 as a wholly owned undertaking of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The objectives of APMDC are: the development of mineral resources including exploration, exploitation, beneficiation; development of mineral based industry with private participation; and the identification of best technology and investment for holding mining leases and development of mineral resources.
