Question raised in Rajya Sabha on River Inter-Linking Under Peninsular Component, 28/11/2016. Under the National Perspective Plan for water resources development through inter basin water transfer prepared by this Ministry, National Water Development Agency (NWDA) has identified 16 links from the Peninsular Component for preparation of Feasibility Reports (FRs). The pre-feasibility reports of all these links have been prepared and circulated to the concerned State Governments by the NWDA. After survey and investigations, FRs of 14 links under Peninsular Component have also been completed.
