The thirteenth volume of the Report of the Committee on Doubling Farmers’ Income (DFI) examines the structural weaknesses and reforms needed in the agricultural system. The discussions in this volume range from recommending reforms in the land policy to declaring a farmer-citizen charter. The volume highlights how the assets, people and regulations can accelerate the necessary changes in the agricultural system as has been discussed in the previous volumes of the DFI Report. As such, this volume will reiterate certain previously discussed recommendations and will explain the structural changes required in every aspect of the support and governance mechanism of the government.
