Ministry of power recently released guidelines for charging infrastructure which states that private charging at homes, offices, is now permitted and soon people can charge their EVs at their homes. Electric vehicle owners can soon charge their vehicles at their homes. Power Ministry released 'Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles-Guidelines and Standards-reg' circular. As per the circular, private charging at residences and offices is now permitted and DISCOMs can facilitate the same.
