Justice D. Y. Chandrachud and Justice Indira Banerjee asks the Union government to consider the feasibility of setting up a high powered committee consisting of experts in the field which would assess the benefits and hazards involved. As the matter involved the issue of policy, the SC felt that the Central government should look upon the matter in the first instance.
