This Briefing summarises preliminary findings from research conducted for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The research has two goals: to assess the synergies or schisms between national adaptation policy frameworks and PRSs/NDSs, as discussed in this paper; and to assess the extent to which climate change adaptation has been incorporated into IFAD country strategies, which is work in progress.
