The specific objectives of the research study are: To describe the current level of ownership and control of the selected communities over the land and natural resources; To describe the circumstances and manner that the land is being grabbed; To identify the impacts of land grabbing on the selected communities; and To elaborate the ongoing resistance and organization of the communities against the land grabbing, if any.
