The conceptual approach of the Statistical Report on Women and Men in Nigeria is in line with those published from 2008 to date i.e., gender disaggregated analysis of key social and economic indicators across several areas of contemporary life within the country. This edition covers six crucial policy areas of the economy- Population, Health, Education, Work, Power and Decision Making, and Violence against Women (VAW)/Crime. In each of these areas, statistics from primary and secondary sources were identified, compiled, processed and analyzed, highlighting some differences between the status of girls, boys, women and men.
