The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has been bringing out India Country monitoring reports showcasing progress achieved under MDGs since 2005. The Ministry has come up with the `Millennium Development Goals - Final Country Report of India' which provides the details of achievements under the MDGs and the corresponding programmes and policies of the Government. This report not only highlights the considerable progress achieved by the country under MDGs but also throws light on the areas where more intensive efforts are required.
