The Statistical Year Book is a biennial publication of the Central Bureau of Statistics. This present edition is fourteenth in the series. There are 18 chapters in this edition covering major information on social, demographic and economic situation of the nation. In each chapter, an attempt has been made to update the information, particularly the information on Chapters 1, 2 and 7 are replaced by the data of recent National Population and Housing Census 2011, National
Agriculture Census 2011/12 and Census of Manufacturing Establishments 2011/12, respectively. Likewise, national accounts in the Chapter 15 is updated. Besides, changes have also been made in some other chapters of this edition. Considering the demand of users, attempt is made to present data for ten years.
