Additional affidavit by the Meghalaya Biodiversity Board in the matter of Chandrabhal Singh Vs Union of India & Others in Original Application No. 347 of 2016. The NGT March 18, 2020 had directed all the states and union territories to place on record the present status of compliance of directions passed by the NGT vide orders August 9, 2019 and March 18, 2020 - related to constitution of Biodiversity Management Committees (BMC) and preparation of the People's Biodiversity Register (PBR) by the BMC so constituted.
