Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of A.N. Lalithkumar Vs State of Tamil Nadu dated 17/12/2021.

Grievance in the application is against failure to take remedial action against blockage of canal at Sri Balaji Nagar, Senneerkuppam, Poonamallee in district Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The blockage is caused by growth of hyacinth and other water plants such as long/hard ‘koral pull’, and construction debris that is dumped on the waterway by the contractors of bridge near SA Engineering College.
