The report was in compliance to the National Green Tribunal order dated February 21, 2023 in Original Application No. 08/2023 in the matter of Mukesh Kumar Tiwari Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others.

The NGT had directed for joint inspection of the municipal solid waste processing facility, Shivri, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
