NGT in an order had directed that no stone crushers be permitted to operate unless they obtain consent from the State Pollution Control Board, proper no objection certificate from the concerned authorities and have the Environmental Clearance (EC) from the competent authority. This application seeks ‘modification’ of the order to the effect that the stone crushers should be allowed to set up without EC.
