Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Varun Seth & Others Vs Police Commissioner, Delhi Police & Others dated 05/10/2017 regarding use of loudspeakers and public address system on Jantar Mantar road causing adverse health effect on the residents and children. The applicants (permanent residents of Jantar Mantar road) have also requested that barricades at a sufficient distance be installed so as to prevent vehicular movement.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Varun Seth & Ors. Vs. Police Commissioner, Delhi & Others dated 09/05/2017 regarding noise level mapping in Delhi. NCT Delhi and Central Pollution Control Board shall submit a Status Report in regard to the Noise Level Mapping of the identified sites, including that Connaught Place, at the time of demonstrations. The said mapping shall be done when demonstration are going on and when the demonstration are not being done in that area.
