Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vasu Singh Vs State of Uttarakhand dated 23/03/2022.

Grievance in the application is against dumping of toxic and other solid waste near Mansa Devi Temple complex by shopkeepers in Rajaji Tiger Reserve area, Uttarakhand and failure of the concerned authorities of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve to take remedial action. As a result of such dumping, health of the animals and birds is adversely affected.
