Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Paryavaran Care Society Vs Devendar Bhadana & Others dated 31/05/2019 regarding illegal construction in forest land at Suraj Kund, District Faridabad. The NGT in its previous order had held that the construction was illegal for which action was required to be taken by the concerned authorities and report furnished to the Tribunal. A report submitted by the Divisional Commissioner, Faridabad to the effect that some of the constructions had been demolished and compensatory afforestation charges levied.
