Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Bench, Pune) in the matter of Lakhan Musafir & Anr Vs. Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd. dated 09/05/2014 regarding the construction of Garudeshwar Weir at Garudeshwar village of Narmada District, Gujarat. The Counsel for Applicants has submitted before the Tribunal that the construction work is going on and the villagers are likely to be affected more and more if it was continued and therefore, an early hearing is necessary or that status quo order may be passed.
