Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rajeev Rai Vs Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change & Others dated 26/05/2017 regarding noise pollution caused by Punjabi Club, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The Applicant has also prayed for issuance of of appropriate directions for closure of the said Punjabi Club and similar nature clubs, situated within 100 mts. radius of any hospital in order to enforce the ‘silence zone’ as stipulated in the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 and the comprehensive guidelines framed by the UPPCB.

National Green Tribunal directs all illegal stone crushers to be shut down and not permitted to operate.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rohit Choudhury Vs. Union of India & Others dated 24/08/2016. The application was filed against the alleged illegal activities including operation of stone crushers, brick kilns, tea factories and other polluting activities in the No Development Zone that was demarcated by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change vide Notification dated 5th July, 1996 around the Numaligarh refinery in Assam.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rajesh Kumar Vs Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change dated 25/04/2016. This Appeal assails the Environmental Clearance (EC) granted to stone mining (Minor Mineral Mining) with proposed production capacity of 9.0 Million TPA (ROM) of stone in mining lease area measuring 53.03 Hectares at Khasra No. 91, 96, 97, 98, 99, 102 and 103 of Village Rajawas, Tehsil and District Mahendergarh, Haryana in favour of M/s R.S Joint Venture on 3rd July, 2015.
