Judgement of the Bombay High Court in the matter of Union of India ( through the Indian Army) Vs State of Maharashtra & Others dated 29/04/2016 regarding Adarsh Housing Society in Mumbai.

Court directs the Ministry of Defence to hold an in-depth inquiry for "finding out lapses or reasons on the part of its officers for not instituting writ petition at the earliest available opportunity as also finding out whether these GOCs compromised with security of CMS in lieu of allotment of flats in the building of the Adarsh Co-operative Housing Society Ltd.
