Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Prakash Ravaji Devgirikar & Others Vs State of Maharashtra & Others dated 20/10/2020.

The applicants are the project affected persons of Gunjawani Irrigation Project. In Original Application No. 43/2016 certain directions were issued for rehabilitation and it is alleged that the state of Maharashtra having responsibility for rehabilitation failed to fulfil the pre-condition of the environmental clearance and after gap of more than four years the conditions has not been complied with.
