Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rizwan Tanning Industry & Others Vs. U.P.P.C.B. dated 10/04/2015 regarding industrial pollution of river Ganga, Uttar Pradesh especially by tanneries.

The Tribunal noted that report of the joint inspection team has been filed and it is shown that the industry is releasing chromium much in excess of the prescribed limit of 2 miligram per litre.
