Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sarav Shikshit Evam Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 18/07/217 regarding damage to public health caused because of the cement plant in the Bilaspur area of Himachal Pradesh. Secretary, State of Himachal Pradesh submits that the Government has entered into a dialogue with the PGI, Public Health Department for conducting proper research to substantiate the damage caused by the cement plant.

The Chief Medical Officer assures that he will take all possible steps to ensure treatment of the people who have suffered from the pulmonary, skin, ENT and other diseases.
