Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding pollution of river Satluj due to untreated domestic sewage, Punjab, 13/01/2016

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sobha Singh & Ors. vs. State of Punjab & Ors. dated 13/01/2016 regarding pollution of river Satluj due to untreated domestic sewage, Punjab. 

From the report of analysis filed by the Punjab Pollution Control Board it is very clear that the effluents discharged from the STPs of Sultanpur Lodhi and Basti Peerdaad exceed the prescribed norms for BoD, CoD, TSS and phosphates.
