SRINAGAR: A whopping Rs.11,000 crore is being spent in the country on afforestation and for that purpose all the States will have Compensatory Afforestation Management and Planning Authorities (CAMPAs) set up by July 15, Union Forests and Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh said here on Monday.
