If figures released by Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JPSCB) of its first-ever Puja noise survey are anything to go by, the revelry centre of the capital during Durga Puja was Hatia, followed by Birsa Chowk and Kutchery Chowk.

On October 16, Navami, noisy celebrations pushed up the decibel meter at Hatia market to 94.7db between 12.20 and 12.30pm.
