Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. Amandeep Aggarwal Vs. State of Punjab & Others dated 31/03/2017 regarding indiscriminate cutting of trees in the State of Punjab. NGT directs Chief Conservator of Forest, State of Punjab, representative of the Regional Office of the MoEF, Chandigarh and representative of State of Punjab to conduct a personal inspection and prepare a video, clearly showing land in question where afforestation has been done.

State of Punjab & Others dated 08/07/2016 regarding cutting of trees in the State of Punjab at various road widening projects and canal banks. NGT directs the counsel appearing for the State of Punjab to state before the Tribunal on when were the trees along Bist Doaba canal planted and by whom and also weather State has issued notification declaring road/ canal side plantation as forest.
