speakers on the perils of global warming and climate change at an interactive session held on the subject at CEPT auditorium on Saturday.

AHMEDABAD: In its march towards spreading a green message in other countries, after Sri Lanka and Australia, Centre for Environmental Education (CEE) is now eyeing Canada. The city-based NGO will soon start its centre there and aiming to partner with the country for dealing with climate change issues.

Over 200 volunteers got their first lesson on Teach India from none other than Kartikeya Sarabhai, director of Centre for Environmental Education (CEE), one of the partner NGOs with the campaign, on Saturday. An intense session of orientation kicked off as Sarabhai outlined key points of the programme. The induction continued at CEE on Sunday as well with over 100 volunteers turning up.

A three-day orientation programme on environmental education resource books for DEd, BEd and MEd level students, organised by the Centre for Environment Education (CEE) in association with National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), got under way at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in Mohali on Monday.
