It was submitted before the Tribunal that though the joint inspection report was filed, report is not complete as the report of analysis of water and soil is yet to be filed.

HIL Ltd. & Ors. dated 05/01/2016 regarding compensation for the loss sustained by the Applicants on account of asbestos mining carried out by the Respondent No. 1 i.e. HIL Ltd. besides seeking restitution/closure of abandoned asbestos mines at Village Roro, West Singhbhum, Jharkhand.

Pleadings are complete. However, the question of restitution of abandon asbestos mines can be resolved effectively upon getting the report of Joint Inspection Team from the State of Jharkhand ruled the Court.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Kalyan Bansingh & Ors. V/s HIL Ltd. & Ors. dated 18/09/2014 regarding dispersal of chromium and chrysotile asbestos creating health hazard in the area concerned.
