NTPC 3x660 MW (stage-I) Sipat Super Thermal Power Project in Village Sipat, Tehsil Masturi at district Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh report in compliance of National Green Tribunal order of February 27, 2020 in the matter of Rashmi Singh Vs NTPC Ltd. & Others.

The applicant had filed an affidavit before NGT in reference to the status report submitted by the Regional MoEF&CC Nagpur dated June 20, 2019 and alleged that there was non-compliance of the EC conditions by the thermal power plant.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Rama Shankar Gurudwan Vs NTPC & Ors. dated 23/04/2014 regarding the NOC dated 5th March, 1997 issued by the State Pollution Control Board in favour of the NTPC project Bilaspur District, Chhattisgarh) which according to the petitioners was bad in law and prayed to quash the site clearance for the stage one given by the MoEF as also to quash the Environmental Clearance.
