LUCKNOW: It was finally an `outsider' and not a forester who brought to an end the three months long hunt for the young tiger. And, that has already raised a question mark on the operation. The two-and-a-half-year old tiger which moved out of Pilibhit forest on November 11 was shot down on Tuesday.
With the number of cases of tigers straying into urban habitats on increase in Uttar Pradesh, the Centre has asked the State Government to expedite the process of finalising Pilibhit forest as tiger reserve for saving the big cats.
Lucknow: The incident of a young tiger venturing out of Pilibhit forest has been a blessing in disguise for the wildlife of Uttar Pradesh. The tiger, it seems, has walked 300 kms away from its natural habitat for a cause
