NGT asks the State Government of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, particularly the Forest Department on the fire alerts received by them from the Forest Survey of India and to place on record the alerts received by them for last two months and whether they have made mapping of the forest areas which is critical as far as forest fire is concerned.
