The appeal has been preferred against order of August 23, 2019 of the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Gujarat, granting Environmental Clearance (EC) to M/s. Sanghi Industries Limited for setting up a stand-alone cement grinding unit at Survey No.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of University of Delhi Vs Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change & Others dated 20/01/2021.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Conservation Action Trust & Others Vs Union of India & Others others dated 27/11/2020. The case was against grant of Environmental and Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Clearance (EC) by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) vide letter dated November 2, 2016 for ‘upgradation of existing ship recycling yard at Alang Sosiya, Gujarat for undertaking safe and environmentally sound ship recycling operations by M/s Gujarat Maritime Board’.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Noble M Paikada Vs Union of India & Others dated 28/10/2020.

In the application, challenge is to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) Notification dated March 28, 2020 amending the Notification of September 14, 2006 on the subject of requirement of Environment Clearance before undertaking some projects impacting environment.

Report by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) in the matter of CPCB Vs State of Andaman & Nicobar & Others regarding Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016.

The NGT vide order September 10, 2020 directed the Chairman and Member Secretary, CPCB to hold periodic meetings with the Chairman and Member Secretaries of all the state boards/committees on the subject to work out enforcement strategies, including action plans in all the districts - involving educational, religious and other institutions.

Report filed on behalf of Social Action for Forest and Environment (SAFE) Vs Union of India & Others dated 28/09/2020. The report was in response to the report of the Joint Committee May 29, 2020. SAFE had filed an appeal before the NGT against the Environmental Clearance granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on March 30, 2017 for the setting up of a coal fired non-mine mouth, Supercritical Thermal Power Plant (STPP) by THDC Ltd. in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh.

Affidavit on behalf of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Limited setting out the status of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) project and environmental impact mitigation measures taken by L&T dated 19/09/2020. The MTHL and the approval of January 25, 2016 given by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) under the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Notification 2011 are the subject matter of the appeal filed by Dileep B. Nevatia.
