Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rashid Ali Warsi Vs. UPSIDC Ltd. & Others dated 12/06/2017 regarding industrial pollution caused by lack of functional CETP, Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. NGT in its Order Dated 29/05/2017 had directed UPSIDC (Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation) to make the CETP functional positively and report compliance.

UPSIDC Ltd. & Ors. dated 29/05/2017 regarding industrial pollution caused by lack of functional CETP, Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. NGT notes that the CETP which is the responsibility of UPSIDC is still non-functioning. NGT grants UPSIDC one week's time to make the CETP functional.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rashid Ali Warsi Vs. UPSIDC Ltd. & Ors. dated 03/02/2016 regarding industrial pollution caused by lack of functional CETP, Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 03/02/2016.

Joint inspection report submitted by CPCB shows that out of 60 units only 48 are now operational. Out of the 48 industries, only one unit (M/s Ragging Sons) is having no consent.

Inspection Report reveals that the CETP is not being maintained and run in the manner required. NGT therefore issues notice to UPSIIDC as to why they should not be saddled with the environmental compensation for their failure to run CETP properly and causing damage to the environment.
