Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of S.D. Windlesh Vs. Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 05/07/2016 regarding cutting of around 400 trees for widening a road in Delhi without permission by Public Works Department (PWD). Tribunal imposes a fine of Rs. 10,000/- on the Chief Engineer and Director of the Horticulture Department and they also gave an undertaking to the Tribunal that within two weeks 2000 trees will be planted and videography would be prepared and submitted to be Tribunal on the next date of hearing.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of S.D. Windlesh Vs. Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 05/05/2016 regarding tree felling, Shastri Park, Delhi. Chief Engineer, PWD has given assurance to the Tribunal that 2000 trees will be planted before the next monsoon and shall take preparatory steps before the next date of hearing. He will also give details of the 8 trees that are stated to have been transplanted.
