Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sunita Pandey & Ors. Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 26/08/2015 regarding arsenic in the ground water of District Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The Counsel appearing for CPCB submits that the inspection has not been conducted for all the hand-pumps. However, 183 hand-pumps have been inspected and water quality of these hand pumps, have been found to be potable.
