The Counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Environment Protection Pollution Control Board , informed that the industry is compliant and non-polluting. Consequently the industry is permitted to operate in accordance with law and the consent granted by the Board can take effect.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s Needle Eye Plastic Industries Pvt. Ltd. Vs. Uttarakhand Environment Protection Pollution Control Board dated 29/02/2016 regarding pollution caused by the industry and operating without consent.

NGT imposes a sum of Rs. 10 lacs as the Environmental Compensation in terms of the Section 15 and 17 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010 on the polluting industry.

NGT disposes of the application with the direction that the consent to operate shall be granted only after the Joint Inspection Team has inspected the industry and finds the Unit to be compliant and non-polluting.
