The focus of the conference will be on the exchange of information, deliberations, cross fertilization of ideas and research outcomes so as to evolve ways and means to address the practical challenges encountered in all aspects of water and environment in the changing scenario. Specifically, the conference will focus on important issues related to water, land and environment with a special reference to the resilience of ecosystem in the context of climate change in order to have sustainable water for rural and urban requirements by taking a holistic view from watershed level to river basin level. Yet it will not loose its global perspective since the entire globe can be considered as a single watershed.
