National Workshop cum Training on – ‘Data Assimilation for Atmospheric and Ocean models’, has been organized by IITM during 3-12 October 2012 at IITM. Dr. Oliver Talagrand, Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique, France, a pioneer in the field of Data Assimilation is visiting IITM during 3-12 October 2012 and delivering a short course on inverse problem, and different data assimilation techniques.
