Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding Bhagwati Stone Crusher, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, 04/01/2021
Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Madansingh Chauhan Vs State of Rajasthan dated 04/01/2021. The matter related to Bhagwati Stone Crusher being operated in village Subaki, district Bharatpur, Rajasthan, within 200 meters of a school and close to the habitation.
The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board in its report to the NGT, August 31, 2020 said that the disputed stone crusher was established at land converted by letter dated February 21, 2005 for industrial purpose. Further, the stone crusher has valid consent to operate from the SPCB.
The project proponent had installed the following:
- covers on vibrating screen,
- jaw crusher and granulator,
- water sprinkling system 86 wind breaking wall,
- boundary wall and hard surface road has also been constructed. The project proponent had also done more than 33% plantation.
The NGT noted that in view of the above, no further orders appeared necessary and disposed of the application.
