Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. Ministry of Environment & Forests & Ors. dated 22/01/2014 regarding illegal mining going on in the District Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. NGT order also asks the state government to fie the list of Leases/Licenses for mining which were issued during the last 10 years. Also how many permits have been issued for what quantity and replenishment
capacity of that area for which these permits were issued.
