Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Paryavaran & Manav Sanrakshan Samiti v. Union of India & Others dated 19/08/2016 regarding illegal river sand mining, Madhya Pradesh. 

Tribunal directs the SEIAA to issue necessary directions to all district committees / authorities while considering the applications for Environmental Clearances (ECs) to consider the same in the light of 2016 guidelines issued by the MoEF in respect of river sand mining.
