Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahendra Pandey Vs. Union of India & Others dated 21/02/2018 regarding management of hazardous waste that is lying on the bank of river Ram Ganga, Uttar Pradesh.

Counsel appearing for State Pollution Control Board submits that the hazardous waste can be beneficially utilized for filling requirement of overbridges on the Kachha Area. The feasibility can be ascertained from National Highways Authority of India and Central Pollution Control Board. Counsel appearing for Central Pollution Control Board submits that they have not received any proposal, if such proposal is received, they will examine and place it before the Tribunal.
