Order of the National Green Tribunal (Southern Zone, Chennai) in the matter of Kumbeswaran Vs Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board & Others dated 17/02/2016 regarding operation of hot mix plants in Somangalam Village, Kundrathur Panchayath Union, Sriperambudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board after conducting inspection have stated that there are 11 units in operation in the said area of which only two are having renewal of ‘’consent’’ from the Board.
