Report filed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Bandar in the matter of Kotari Muralidhar Babu Vs State of Andhra Pradesh dated 01/05/2023.

The matter related to illegal mining of soil and sand in Kappaladoddi village of Guduru mandal, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

The Tahsildar, Guduru have stopped 6 vehicles altogether in the year 2022 while transporting busaka (a mix of sand and alluvium) and fines imposed. In addition, the Tahsildar, Guduru has furnished the details of landowners/pattadars and their addresses for taking further action against the illegal mining.

The report said that the Royalty Inspector, Mines and Geology, Vijaywada have conducted field level enquiry and they have confirmed that illegal mining had taken place in Kappaladoddi village.

The report assured the tribunal that the mining department authoritities are taking steps to impose the penalties to the land owners depending upon the illegal mining and details of action taken by the Mining Department is awaited by this department.
