Dakar: Managing the regional risks of climate extremes and disasters – learning from the IPCC Special Report

This workshop is designed for policy makers, business leaders, academics and other stakeholders that are, have been, or may be impacted by climate extremes and disasters. It seeks to promote discussion of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Special Report on "Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters for Advancing Climate Change Adaptation" (SREX). Participation in this event is by invitation only. Speakers include IPCC authors and invited guests from the West African region.
